Tumble ‘n’ splice
September 13th, 2007 · No Comments Yet
I’ve started a tumblelog. It’s a place for things insufficiently thought-out to go here, but not sufficiently personal to just share on Facebook. It may expand to become a magnificent multimedia repository; it may not. It may take on a wierd tone and need to be anonymised. It may remain a separate blog and subsume its cousin, Rav Idly Wonders. Or it may merge into here under its own category.
I
just
don’t know.
But you can find it here:
If you want.
UPDATE: Tumblog? Tumblelog? I don’t know. What do you think?

So I submitted an edited version of my column “Democracy 2.0” to the London Paper’s “the columnist” feature. And they printed it today! Hooray!

Memorial (Warning)
July 9th, 2006 · 1 Comment
I’ve made a remix! Admittedly, it’s just some vocals added to an instrumental, but then that’s how the very first remix, Frankie Knuckles’ You Got The Love was made.
The music is Explosions In The Sky’s “Memorial”, from their excellent album The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place. The vocals come from an interview that was recorded a few weeks ago for WAMC’s Weekly Rundown. I can’t remember the name of the interviewee, unfortunately.

So I got into a couple of arguments over Guardian leaders, over, of all things, the BBC and (less of a shock) international development policy.
I still think it’s very wierd that the world’s second-most popular online newspaper lets any user place unmoderated comments straight on the webpage of its leader articles, but it’s kind of fun, too…

Letters from America
April 5th, 2006 · No Comments Yet
My blog goes all the way back to 2004, for those of you who seriously don’t have enough to do. Before that, I didn’t really blog, but I did post my Letters from America online. This is when I was at Harvard, studying (like you do anything else there). They’re fun, and full of enthusiasm and excitement at the potential of life, like all things written by any young person, ever, should be, and too few are.
